After I entered NTUST, I had lived in dormitory for a year. So, I know some different from them. How to choose from them?People that need quiet or low cost in studying process may suffer the question. there are three differences between dormitory and home life as followed.
One of differents is convenience. In school, commissary , restaurant and constitutes have been established to serve students and teachers.Student living in the domitory can go out and walk a little distance to buy something you want.Knowledge is convenient to find it in school,too. Library is often closer to dormitory then to home. It's take less time for domitory students. Beside these,dormitory students can't wake up early beacuse the tuition building is not too far;However, It's not convenient for students at home to buy something . you must take a lot of time by transport and there are not short distance between your home and the place I want going to.
Buying most of things is cheaper in school than out of school. It's a reason why many stduents choose living in dormitory.Convenience stores in school alway give discount of 10 per cent for customer.Student can buy the articles for daily use using more cheaper cost. In respect of eating,using the same money to buy food in school But have much quantity in school than out of school.
The most and major different is resourse sharing.In dormitory,every thing you use must be shared with other people except your bed.such as bathroom,shower-room,water,air condition,television and so on. The matter that is very difficult to handle in dormitory is space.one room is about six students residing at that room.Your frame of mind is dominated by the roommates.If you are fortunate enough ,you will have a good guys or grils that is on their best behavior.If not,Oh..that is a tragedy to put on the stage.You maybe have a noise guys or girls that not sleep on time and bother you in nights.Most of student that give up dormitory life had considered the problem.Unlike home,resourse sharing not exsit at it.
Here we provide three differences between dormitory and home life.If you are above water,I will suggest you should choose home or hire a room. If not ,living in dormitory is a economical decision.

It is a good article to discribe the dormitory life in NTUST. It has lots of advantages living in the NTUST dormitory. I think it will attract the people who live at home to imagine a wonderful live in dormitory.
I think maybe you can think some characteristics living at home to compare with the dormintory. If the whole article have lots of advantages and few disavantages with one side, it will not be like a comparision article. Advantages and disavantages may have to get a balance.
There is a little vocabulary mistake in forth paragraph and seventh sentence: you will have a good guys or "girls" ....

It's not convenient for students at home to buy something . you must take a lot of time by transport and there are not short distance between your home and the place I want going to. I think the above you descibe is depend on everyone's situation. For me, that is not a disadvantage.
And you just focus on the living on dorm. So I suggest that you can just compare more disadvantages and advantages of living at home.
